Morning everyone, so thought I would let you all know how a ‘normal’ day goes in the Cleaning Works Liverpool, however I have to say no two days are ever the same.
So up at 7.15am after a few snoozes on the alarm clock – does anybody not hit snooze?! Then its downstairs and the rush for school begins. Ensure everyone is fed and school bag is correctly packed. We have to leave the house for 8.30am or we will be late. Today I go a different way through the farmers’ fields to avoid road works and although it is probably longer we actually get to school early – this is a first!
Once I have dropped my little person off, it’s off to the office I go, first thing I do after putting the kettle on of course is to check our answer phone and reply to any calls we may have missed in the evening. It’s surprising how many of you realise at 11.30pm you would like to start having a cleaner. I then check the emails and reply to any that I may have received. Whether this is a new enquiry, somebody looking for a job or maybe a client is off on holiday, having some work done or just can’t make the regular cleaning day. I arrange for any changes to be made and make sure the client is happy and the cleaner can accommodate.
Easter is nearly upon us so today’s main task is to check that all clients that are due on the Good Friday and Easter Monday are done on alternative days if these days are not suitable. It’s a good chance to catch up with the clients to and see how things have been going with their regular cleaning. It seems everyone is happy so now for my next task!
Bank reconciliation not my favourite job but none the less it has to be done, deal with any queries that may pop up as a result of checking the bank statements.
My business partner is out doing spot checks, this is something we do on an ad hoc basis. Checking that all is going well with the day to day cleans. He also manages to fit in an appointment to see a new client who has signed up and is looking forward to their first clean, I will liaise with available cleaners and see who we have available to suit the client’s needs and then its home time back to it tomorrow.
